Fall Family Session | Manor House at Kings Charter

November 15, 2020

Back in October, I got a chance to photograph some of my favorite subjects — my brother’s family!  Even though they live a mere 90 miles away, we haven’t been able to see them for several months because of COVID-19.  And when one of them is only 8 months old, that’s a LONG time!

Not knowing when we might see them again before Christmas, my sister-in-law asked me to take their photos for their Christmas card early. And lucky for all of us, my niece was in a cooperative mood!  To make things easier on all of us, we returned to a favorite – and conveniently close – haunt, the Manor House at Kings Charter.

My parents have lived in Kings Charter for almost 30 years now and I return to this location often to take photos. We photographed part of my brother and sister-in-law’s engagement session here, so it was nice to come full circle with them now that they are a family of four. There wasn’t a lot of fall color yet in mid-October, but we made the most we could of one colorful tree in the sunken garden behind the Manor House. Fall is probably my favorite season… I only forgive it for being so fleeting because it is followed by the Christmas season!

Are you in need of some family photos this year?  I’d love to help you out with that… just send me a message!
